Woodstock, Ont. – On May 2nd, the Woodstock-Ingersoll & District Real Estate Board hosted their 8 th Annual REALTORS® Care Food Drive in Woodstock, Ingersoll and Sweaburg for their respective Salvation Army food banks. There was a total of 115 volunteers plus their families for both events of which 80 were local REALTORS® covering approximately 90 per cent of routes in both towns. “I am very proud of our members and the support they give to this amazing event, which continues to be a great success every year. We want our communities to know that your local REALTORS® are not just real estate representatives, but friends and neighbours who care about our communities,” commented WIDREB President, William Cattle. “I would also like to take the time to personally thank our REALTORS® Care Committee for all their hard work and dedication that they put towards creating such a successful and well received event every year.” Current estimates in the amount of food received from scheduled collection are 7,000 pounds of food in Ingersoll and 22,000 pounds of food in Woodstock, totaling 29,000 pounds of food collected.
